really enjoyed this great historic hotel: tasty food and really helpful staff. they gave me great-sized and bright room with nice coffee etc, whisky plus lovely bathroom. absolutely perfect central location close to the council were cleaning the roads. also, kroger was 2 miles away from the venue. i came here for 1 night and had an enjoyable stay.
There was low water pressure and it was inconvenient.

Absolutely great hotel in a perfect position in restaurant nothing else offered. Variety of options, delicious food. Location close enough to a lovely pub, a nice area, and the council were cleaning the roads. Situated only 1 km from Squerryes Court.

charming historical decor, large powerful shower, thoughtful complimentary drinks
The size of the 'Ironbelly' room seemed too small for the price paid!!! The lack of proper bacon at breakfast left a lot to be desired!!! I'd suggest better portion sizes in the restaurant too!!!

Great stay with fab extras
I had a lovely night at this cozy spot. The room was super comfy and had this awesome Dyson fan, a lifesaver! The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was spot on. Only thing was a broken mirror in the bathroom, but I'm sure they'll fix that soon. The terrace is great for chilling after dinner!

The room was cozy and well-maintained. I loved the extra touches like the decor on the toilet roll. There's a lovely garden ideal for relaxing and a charming little bar for unwinding after a day out. Just a heads-up, the shower door was a bit tricky, but it didn't ruin my stay at all! 🌟

The rooms were so cozy and had everything we needed, like amazing coffees and even sloe gin! We really enjoyed the on-site parking and relaxing in the charming lounge area after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, our room was a bit noisy from the street outside, but it didn't ruin our time at all. 😊

I was blown away by the fine décor and attention to detail in my room. The super king bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and don't even get me started on the massive standalone bath! Breakfast was a good feast, with fresh pastries and a menu that spoiled me for choice.

I spent two nights and found the room cozy and well furnished. The lounge area provided a comfortable space. Meals were enjoyable. The local vibe in the pub added to the cute atmosphere, which I appreciated as a couple from London.
The parking space was tight. I noticed the absence of reception staff during check-in and check-out, inconvenient.
